With summer quickly approaching, many of us are searching for ways to get our bodies looking and feeling their best in order to ensure a worry-free, confident summer season. One increasingly popular way to get toned and tight is through in-office body contouring procedures. Just last week, one of the industry’s most innovative lasers, the EON laser, received FDA-approval for two new areas of body contouring treatment just in time for summer.
The first robotic and touchless body contouring device in the industry, EON has gained immense popularity among doctors and more in recent years as a result of the laser’s innovative cooling system that helps to maintain patient comfort while the 1064nm laser induces apoptosis and prompts the body to naturally eliminate fat cells through the lymphatic system in as little as 12 weeks. Last week, the FDA cleared EON for treatment of the back and thighs, making the total areas available for EON treatment the abdomen, flanks, thighs and back.
Following the brand’s latest FDA approval, the Houston-based company is also planning on opening its first stand-alone EON location this May in hopes of offering both the brand’s signature body contouring treatment as well as new-patient consultations for clients looking to learn more about the state-of-the-art laser.
