From her covers of Sports Illustrated to her experience as an entrepreneur, business woman, actress and producer, Elle Macpherson has done it all. Gaining the nickname, “The Body” early in her career, Macpherson has been known for looks for quite some time now, and at 60, she looks just as radiant now as she did 30 years ago.

In celebration of the Australian model and business woman’s 60th birthday, we rounded up some of the best beauty tips, tricks and products she’s shared over the years to help keep herself looking and feeling her best.

Her Skin-Care Favorites

Back in 2021, Macpherson appeared on Vogue’s “Beauty Secrets” video and revealed that, believe it or not, she hasn’t always taken care of her skin. “When I was younger I didn’t even have a skin-care routine,” she said in the video. “I would go to work and the makeup artist would prep my skin for me, so I didn’t have to worry. People used to laugh at me and say you need to take more care and I probably should have listened.”

More recently though, she’s investing in anti-aging skin care and taking care of her complexion with a lineup of tried-and-true products. Some of her favorites include Dr. Barbara Sturm’s Super Anti-Aging Serum ($380) and Super Anti-Aging Face Cream ($360).

Lymphatic Drainage

Also during her Vogue Beauty Secrets video, Macpherson revealed that lymphatic drainage and improved circulation is a big part of her day-to-day beauty routine. “For me circulation is key, lymphatic draining is really important,” she says. “You got to move those toxins out of your body or it will show on your skin. I have a steam most nights and while I’m in there my body is sweating so I’ll put oil on and then use this body gua sha the same way as I use the lymphatic drainage brush.”

No-Makeup Makeup

As we all know, caking on makeup can sometimes make us look older, and Macpherson swears by a light coverage foundation stick to even out her complexion while still looking natural. Her product of choice is the viral Westman Atelier Vital Skin Foundation Stick ($68) which is packed with skin-loving ingredients.

Beauty From the Inside Out

In a 2023 essay-style piece with Get The Gloss, Macpherson got real about her journey to understanding the beauty is truly an inside-out process, and explained that the revelation totally transformed her. “It wasn’t until I was around 40, when I’d become the fittest I’ve ever been, that I saw that real beauty starts from making meaningful lifestyle choices,” she told the outlet. “I still wasn’t identifying beauty as an internal process, but I was beginning to sense that the answer was in my hands. It would take another decade to fully grasp that.”

Nutrition and Supplements

Despite the fact that she’s known for her incredible physique, Macpherson has struggled with nutrition, and revealed during her Into the Gloss segment that nutritional greens powders have played a big role in her overall well being.

“In 2014, I was burned out, irritable and exhausted, “she explained. “I first visited nutritionist Dr. Simone Laubscher PhD’s London clinic and I remember telling her about my skin being particularly dry, dull and prone to rashes and hives. She prescribed me 30 days of her anti-inflammatory nutritional greens powder. After just a few weeks, I was feeling better, lighter and brighter. The quality of my skin improved noticeably and people’s comments confirmed it.”

In terms of the actual supplements she’s using, she swears by her brand’s The Super Elixir ($85), The Collagen Elixir ($60) and The Skin Elixir ($59).
