If you take a scroll through 56-year-old Elizabeth Hurley’s Instagram feed, you’ll see everything from throwbacks to selfies, but what we’re zooming in on are her toned and defined abs in her many bikini shots. In a recent article for The Times, Hurley reveals all the secrets on how she has kept her body looking so fit throughout the years, and we’re taking notes.
“I haven’t eaten processed food for 100 years,” Hurley says. “I don’t eat sweets. I drink little alcohol. I don’t smoke but I deeply regret that I once did. I have learned to eat lighter and not so late.”
The actress also explains that a transformative change in her diet has been making her meals 50-percent vegetable-based. “If you have a slice of toast for breakfast, have an apple too. Counteract everything with vegetables.” But, despite her love for raw foods, she can’t shake her love for peanut butter. “I have one spoon, then another, and I’ve emptied the jar before you know it,” she admits.
