Smoothing mode can be used on wet hair and is best suited for straight or wavy strands. The Flyaway mode should only be used on dry hair and is ideal for naturally straight or wavy hair and any hair type that has been straightened.
If you’re a Dyson devotee, you may recall the brand has an older Flyaway attachment ($40). This new and reimagined attachment has more functionality than the original.
