Philosophy

Dr. Neal Patel’s competence at procuring the finest technologies available in dentistry gives him the distinct advantage of being able to provide a complete smile transformation in just one visit. Every essential skill and tool required to create a winning smile can be found at his Powell, Ohio facility, eliminating the need to find multiple providers to ensure his patients meet their aesthetic goals. He employs Computer Assisted Design (CAD), guided implant surgery, digital X-rays, lasers, 3-D printing and his in-house dental laboratory to create new smiles in what seems like an instant. “People come to me from all over the world with dreams of perfecting their smiles,” says Dr. Patel. “I can make those dreams come true by sending them home with a new smile that very same day.”

About My Practice

What is unique about your practice?

Infinite Smiles is a sophisticated fusion of science and art so it has every single technology that is on the cutting edge of dentistry in one building—and we use this technology in every aspect of our patients’ care. We’re completely digital. That is unique. And while the equipment we have is important, the training we have undertaken to use that equipment is equally important.

What is your overall practice philosophy?

We don’t focus just on how things look. First and foremost, we make sure the smile is healthy and we reinforce that through aesthetics so that patients get excited about their smiles and are motivated to maintain them. We also believe in giving our patients all the options and push ourselves to find better ways to treat them instead of getting comfortable and trapped by older methods.

What technology are you most excited to have?

We love the many applications for cone beam imaging, which is basically a 3-D x-ray. It allows us to measure more accurately and see things that we weren’t able to see with traditional x-rays. It’s a glimpse of what’s coming in the future of dentistry.

    to smile freely

  7. My motto

    Infinite smiles, endless possibilities

  8. Three words that best describe me

    Driven, creative, curious

  9. The future of my field

    Dentistry is going digital

  10. In what ways is dentistry like art?

The ideal smile is a custom creation.
A dentist must take into account the
    patient’s age, facial contours, skin
    tone, gum line and expectations.
Dentists use an array of tools to cast,
drill, file and perfect each dental
restoration. It requires a mastery of
    precision—the very definition of art

  11. What do you think is the biggest smile breakthrough on the horizon?

t would have to be 3-D printing! I’ve
    already invested in this technology
for my practice for dental prosthetics
and physical models of my patients.
It’s becoming part of my in-office magic
and allows me to not just discuss what
I can do as a dentist, but also show
    my patients what to expect

  12. How do you help beautify patients?

There is simply no way for a person
to radiate their natural beauty if they
are always limiting their smile. The
beauty that comes with a confident
    smile is unmistakable

  13. What new services are you excited to offer?

    GuidedSMILE—a medical device
    that expands the surgeon’s control
and precision over the dental implant
    process during surgery, including
the planning and placement. It’s been
called the “GPS for placing dental
implants,” and gives me the ability
to deliver a more precise, functional
    and aesthetically pleasing outcome.
It shortens surgery by almost half the
    time, which minimizes swelling and
discomfort. It allows patients to get
a full set of new teeth the same day!

  14. What is your main focus when doing cosmetic dentistry?

"The perfect smile” is not one size
fits all. In cosmetic dentistry, it’s
all about listening to the patient.
My team and I have to understand
    the patient’s expectations in order
to create a satisfying final result.
Most times, there is more than one
way to achieve the look the patient
wants and I provide a complimentary
    consultation to review options

  15. The first step in getting a new smile

    Research! Informed patients
tend to be the most satisfied
