On a night filled with stars, we’re caught on the celestial mani Cynthia Erivo rocked for the 2025 Grammy Awards. Created by celebrity nail artist Mycah Dior (who’s only 19 years old, by the way), this moon and stars manicure was a perfect fit for Erivo’s performance. The actress and singer was announced as a performer just a few days before the show as part of a slate of artists honoring the late Quincy Jones. And on the red carpet, her whole look hinted at what song she’d be singing.
“I feel like the nails are also a hint,” she said, showing the camera her manicure. “What do you see there? Moon and stars.”
She kicked off the 2025 Grammy Awards tribute to Quincy Jones with the iconic “Fly Me to the Moon,” a mega-hit which Jones helped arrange. And we’re kicking ourselves for not guessing the song based on her celestial mani!
How to Get Erivo’s Grammy Nails
“For this set, celestial dreams meet luxury,” Dior explains. “The look is inspired by the cosmic beauty of the universe and features out-of-this-world glam for a star-studded moment!!”
To create Erivo’s blended night sky nails, Dior used OPI’s Gel Color line in four different shades. Dior created the aurora look using a makeup sponge on a random pattern of blue, white, purple and mint. And there’s good news—every color she used is available in OPI’s nail lacquer formula.
