If we had a dime for every time a celebrity dipped their toes—or, well, fingers—into the soap nails water, it’s safe to say we’d have a lot of spare change. Leave it to Cher, though, to take a now long-standing nail trend and completely reinvent it in iconic, larger-than-life Cher fashion. At the premiere for Mariska Hargitay‘s new film, My Mom Jayne at the 2025 Tribeca Film Festival, Cher teamed up with long-time friend and nail icon, Deborah Lippmann, for a soapy French nail look, complete with real Swarovski crystals, of course.

The Exact Shades Used for Cher’s Tribeca Film Festival French

“Last night, I had the honor of doing nails for my forever friend and icon, #CHER,” founder of the famous nail polish brand of the same name, Deborah Lippmann began on Instagram. “Fun fact: 25 years ago, we sat on her bed as she chose the Deborah Lippmann polish bottle,” she wrote in the caption. “Though it had been a while, we picked up right where we left off.” The only thing more lovely than the pair’s reunion, though, was the singer’s custom, Swarovski crystal-encrusted manicure.

Assisted by nail artist Elena Leger, Lippmann used two of her own soap-core polishes to create Cher’s simple yet luxurious look. “Cher wore Tiny Dancer ($20) with Like a Virgin ($20) on the tips, finished with Swarovski crystals sent by #NadiaSwarovski herself,” Lippmann disclosed on Instagram. I mean, what more can we say? A crystal-encrusted soap French manicure on the hands of Cher herself—a match made in manicure heaven.
