We all secretly long for that moment when we randomly run into an ex we haven’t seen for years and we know, deep down, that we look better than ever. Ah, sweet redemption.

These eight Hollywood stars must know what that’s like because they have grown more radiantly beautiful over the years. One area that shows its age quickly is the lips. To keep yours plump and line-free through the years, like the luscious pair on Drew Barrymore, a number of injectables can be very effective.

We can’t say for sure if these celebs have undergone any anti-aging treatments, but we’d happily join them during one of those chance encounters and murmur those four fabulous words: Eat your heart out.

Losing weight is certainly one major factor in actress Kate Winslet’s dramatic transformation, however, with weight loss can come a drop in facial fullness that can lead to a more aged look.

“The face is like a slowly deflating balloon, and that deflation is usually followed by skin descent,” says La Jolla, CA, plastic surgeon Robert Singer, MD. With facial fat loss, you can end up with under-eye hollows and bags. Hyaluronic acid fillers are great for plumping up deficient areas under the eye when they’re injected deep into the tissue.

From little-known soap star to mega-famous talk show host, mother-of-three Kelly Ripa shows that success and happiness (and a superhot husband) play an important role in aging well.

To stay youthful-looking, the eyes may need to be address surgically with blepharoplasty, surgery of the upper, lower or both eyelids. “When rejuvenating the eye area, expression in the brows and upper and lower lids should be maintained,” says New York oculoplastic surgeon Joseph A. Eviatar, MD.

Compared to other facial surgeries, this one is less painful and the eyes typically heal quickly.

We know all about her style-setting hair and we’ve heard the rumors about a nose job, but it’s Jennifer Aniston’s skin that really belies her age and has only gotten better. Regular resurfacing treatments and exfoliation are two ways to keep skin refreshed, blotch-free and youthful.

While experimenting with hair color, we’ve all gone a little too dark, like Christina Applegate in her earlier photo. Dark colors can age the face and look harsh. Today, she’s known for her more-natural dark blond with sunny highlights and darker lowerlights to create contrast that suits her so well…and makes her look years younger.

We can’t all undergo an amazing style transformation like Sarah Jessica Parker as she played fashion-forward writer Carrie Bradshaw on Sex and the City. But there’s more to growing older gracefully than the right clothes.

Keeping the brows from drooping should be at the top of the priority list. One way to lift and reshape them is through injectables. When placed in the area above the brow, neurotoxins will lift it into a more youthful position. “The goal is to retrain the muscles to reshape the brow over time,” says Dr. Eviatar.

Weight-loss and style refinement have turned Christina Ricci into a true stunner, but she also appears to have altered the shape of her nose, which looks far less bulbous.

A nose job is a wise and permanent fix as the nose can actually grow larger with age. In addition to restoring symmetry and straightening the nose, during a nose job, “we enhance the supporting structure and make the link betweenthe tip and other parts of the nose stronger to assure that the nose won’t be as susceptible to dramatic gravity forces and age-related droopiness that occurs to every nose,” says Cleveland plastic surgeon Bahman Guyuron, MD.

One of the most iconic beauties of our time, actress Angelina Jolie seems to actually be growing more beautiful with the years. Her finely tuned style has evolved from punk rebel to strawberry-blond cuteness to raven-haired Hollywood goddess.

Her face has remained flawless with full cheeks, radiant skin and a line-free forehead. Well-placed and conservatively used injectables like Botox, Dysport and Xeomin can limit muscle movement and ensure fewer expression lines, resulting in a supersmooth, youthful face.
