Brazilian beauty Adriana Lima is hands-down one of the most recognized (not to mention, envied) supermodels in the world. At 34, she spends her days being a mom to her two daughters, Valentina and Sienna, shooting fashion campaigns in exotic locales and showing off her curves in Victoria’s Secret ads. But what are some things we don’t know about her? Here, we get the inside scoop from the bombshell herself.

NewBeauty: How do you incorporate anti-aging into your beauty routine?
Adriana Lima: I really believe that sweating during workouts and eating healthy foods are natural ways that can help with anti-aging. These things have truly helped me maintain younger and fresher skin.

NB: Which Maybelline New York products should every woman own and why?
AL: Color Sensational Matte ($8) lipsticks, especially the shade Siren in Scarlet—it gives you a perfect red lip. The Blushed Nudes Palette ($12), which lets you create either a more natural look or a deeper smoky eye because there is such a great variety of colors. Also, Lash Sensational Mascara ($9) for a lot of lash volume.

NB: What Brazilian beauty tip should American women steal to look better?
AL: Brazilians love coconut water. Try putting iced coconut water on cotton pads and applying it them to your face for five minutes. It is a really great way to hydrate your skin.

NB: Which beauty products do you swear by?
AL: Aside from my Maybelline products, I love Marc Jacobs fragrances, Sisley Black Rose Face Oil ($235), Living Proof Instant Texture Mist ($26), Egyptian Magic ($26), La Roche-Posay Anthelios Sunscreen Fluid ($30), Kusmi Tea BB Detox ($21) and 100-percent pure argan oil.

NB: What is your go-to workout routine?
AL: I have been boxing for nearly 10 years. I love it because I feel like it is therapeutic for both my mind and body. It requires intense focus and I sweat a lot. Also, plank exercises are a great way to strengthen my core.

NB: What do you reach for when you’re in snack mode?
AL: Coconut water, BluePrint ($65) juices, chocolate protein bars or fresh fruit.

NB: Who are your beauty icons?
AL: Marilyn Monroe is my all-time beauty icon and my professional inspiration. In my opinion, she was the personification of femininity and grace.

NB: What is your favorite body part? Least favorite?
AL: My favorite is my legs. I like to show them off with short dresses or skinny jeans. Least favorite? I think we all have our moments when we feel a little insecure. Sometimes I don’t like my hair, sometimes I don’t like my teeth, sometimes I don’t like my stomach, but I try not to get too caught up in it, so I’m not going to say anything specific because overall, I like who I am.

NB: How would you describe your personal style?
AL: I have a very simple approach to fashion—comfort is always a priority, so I like to wear casual clothing and athletic wear.

NB: What is one thing you want to do in your life that you haven’t done yet?
AL: I’ve done some acting appearances on television, but I would really love to try film. This has become a recent dream of mine. Hopefully, it will come true someday.
