YSL Beauty has announced Bianca Jagger as the final U.S. Voice for its digital series for Libre Flowers & Flames, its sun-kissed fragrance that debuted in August.
Closing this chapter for the brand, Jagger shares what “Libre” means to her via video and still content. Shot and directed by Tyler Mitchell, the creative series drops in different chapters throughout 2024 over digital and social channels. The project celebrates the unique and distinctive voices of those who “burn to bloom,” leaving their marks for generations to come.
“We are thrilled and honored to collaborate with Bianca Jagger on the Libre Flowers & Flames digital series,” said Juliette Ferret, General Manager, YSL Beauty U.S., in a release. “Her unwavering pursuit of freedom for all perfectly reflects our Libre messaging ambitions. And her voice brings added depth and meaning to our project.”
The brand also added that the fashion icon and human rights advocate embodies the Libre philosophy. “Living authentically, she has carved her own path throughout her career, and she is the embodiment of women’s empowerment.”
Jagger posted similar sentiments on her social media. “Today I’m excited to share the @yslbeauty video for LIBRE FLOWERS & FLAMES. The name of the fragrance, LIBRE, means freedom in English and Spanish. I was born in #nicaragua and since then, the pursuit of freedom, has been an existential objective in my life…I learned that to be free, my own existence had to become an act of rebellion. I am proud to be a #yslbeautypartner because I love the idea of a brand promoting the concept of #freedom#libreflowersandflames.”
