Hollywood’s biggest night is here: Oscars Sunday has arrived, and we’re ready to honor the biggest names in movies this year. All the prep work has paid off and the glam squads have worked their magic. We’ve got details on the best hair and makeup on this year’s red carpet at the 96th Academy Awards.

Eva Longoria

Celebrity hairstylist Ken Paves and celebrity makeup artist Elan Bongiorno gave the actress long, sleek hair and a sultry smoky eye using L’Oréal Paris hair care and makeup. Longoria has been an ambassador for the brand since 2005. We love the modern neckline of her Tamara Ralph Haute Couture gown, too. “I wanted to do elegant and sophisticated,” the star said on the E! red carpet.

“For Eva’s makeup we decided to do her signature bronzed glowy skin while keeping the focus on her gorgeous eyes,” says Bongiorno. “I wanted her eyes to pop, so I gave her glamorous lashes with Panorama Mascara, a classic winged eye look using precision liquid black eyeliner. To complement the look, we went with a nude lipstick [Colour Riche Satin Lipstick in Toasted Almond].”

“This year’s Oscars 2024 look is all about luxurious and glamorous hair!” says Paves. “We lightened Eva’s hair for today, so conditioning was key and the L’Oréal Paris EverPure Bond Repair Color Care System and Elnett Satin Extra Strong Hold Hair Spray were a must! We wanted a sophisticated but natural and easy look. Beautiful, healthy, smooth, gorgeous hair that moves and shines on the red carpet!”

Emma Stone

The frontrunner for “Best Actress” for her role as Bella in Poor Things, Stone looks like a princess in her peplum, mint-colored Louis Vuitton gown. Celebrity hairstylist Mara Roszak created polished waves using the ghd Curve Soft Curling Iron and her new RŌZ Air Thickening Spray “to build the foundation of the style and ensure it lasts all night long.”

Celebrity makeup artist Rachel Goodwin used Charlotte Tilbury products on the actress, including the new and unreleased Pillow Talk Big Lip Plumpgasm, launching on April 4.

Zendaya

Zendaya can do no wrong on the red carpet, and this year, returning to the Oscars as a presenter, she wowed us again. Her lit-from-within glow, flawlessly groomed brow and black feline flick are the ultimate match for her Giorgio Armani Privé gown. The actress is also debuting a fresh cut, which is similar to her lob from last year’s awards season, and one of Hollywood’s most popular styles right now.

Emily Blunt

Donning a “sporty couture” Schiaparelli gown and Tiffany necklace, the “Best Supporting Actress” nominee for Oppenheimer made a big, beautiful statement. “For Emily’s beauty look, we went for a Grecian editorial vibe with a little pink pop on the lips using Charlotte’s Candy Chic lipstick,” says celebrity makeup artist Jenn Streicher, who used Charlotte Tilbury makeup.

Her voluminous, textured bun was created by celebrity hairstylist Laini Reeves. Reeves braided Hidden Crown Hair seamless clip in extensions into fishtail braids and pinned each braid into the ponytail, working them together to create a bun. To add more texture and finish the look, she pulled out loose wispy strands of hair, blew the hair upwards with a blowdryer and then sprayed it with Hair Rituel by Sisley Paris Invisible Hold Hairspray.

Gabrielle Union

We cannot get over the fact that Union doesn’t look much different than she did in Bring It On, which debuted 24 years ago! Turning heads in her Carolina Herrera gown and Tiffany diamonds, the actress paired a tight bun with luminous skin and dramatic lashes. Union’s husband, Dwayne Wade is the executive producer behind The Barber of Little Rock, which is nominated for an Oscar in the “Best Documentary Short” category.

“The beautiful shine of Gabrielle’s gown inspired me to create skin that matched the sheen,” says celebrity makeup artist Tasha Reiko Brown. “The structure demanded that we keep the face softer, so I opted for clean skin with soft sculpting and added a peachy flush on cheeks and lips. I created a pearlescent pop on the apples of Gabrielle’s cheeks by layering two products that had a bold, shimmer finish. This provided a high-impact effect. I first applied CHANEL Roses Coquillage Powder Blush Duo in Roses Coquillage and then topped this with CHANEL Baume Essentiel Multi-Use Glow Stick in Mermaid Glow.”

America Ferrera

Hello bombshell Barbie! Trading the black dresses she’s worn all awards season for this Versace pink chainmail gown, the Barbie actress has never looked better. A natural beauty, the nominee for “Best Actress in a Supporting Role” kept her skin very natural, with a hint of blush and highlighter on the cheek and a pink lip.

Celebrity makeup artist Linda Hay used CoverGirl products, including Clean Fresh Skin Milk in Medium and TruBlend So Flushed High Pigment Blush in Love Me. “America and her beauty encapsulate three words: fresh, flawless, powerful!” says Hay.

Celebrity hairstylist Aviva Jansen Perea prepped Ferrera’s hair with Briogeo Rosarco Milk Leave-In Conditioner and ghd hot tools. “The key to an effortless bend in the hair is to alternate between two irons. With the ghd Chronos Styler, I zig-zag down 1-inch sections of hair holding the iron horizontally, and with the ghd Curve Classic Curl Iron, I take the same size sections and weave the iron perpendicular to the floor. This will create super soft bends to the hair that won’t look overdone or fussy.”

Margot Robbie

In a surprising twist, the actress swapped her Barbie pink gowns for a black Versace one tonight (her and costar America Ferrera, pictured above, must have planned it). She wore her signature blond strands down and a bit tousled, and kept her makeup classic as well: a nude lip, soft, pink cheek and thick black liner.

“I was inspired to harmonize Margot’s makeup look with her deep, espresso dress,” says celebrity makeup artist Pati Dubroff. “I created an espresso-colored, ‘kitten liner’ look by applying both CHANEL Stylo Yeux Waterproof Long-Lasting Eyeliner in Espresso and CHANEL Le Liner de CHANEL Liquid Eyeliner High Precision Longwear in Ultra Brun, to ensure I was able to create the perfect shade of brown that would last all night long.”

Dubroff also applied CHANEL Rouge Allure Velvet Luminous Matte Lip Colour in Intemporelle to complement Robbie’s beautiful, nude nails.

Jennifer Lawrence

To complement her polka-dot Dior Haute Couture gown, celebrity makeup artist Hung Vanngo used Dior Beauty on the actress, including Dior Addict Lip Glow Oil in #001 Pink and Diorshow 24H Stylo Eyeliner in Matte Black. Celebrity hairstylist Rebekah Forecast gave Lawrence a side part and smooth strands that stayed off her face.

Charlize Theron

Dripping in jewels and a pinkish-silver Dior Haute Couture gown, the actress stunned as a presenter tonight. Celebrity makeup artist Kate Lee did Theron’s makeup, keeping it soft and pretty with a pink lip and cheek.

Celebrity hairstylist Renato Campora used Olaplex products, including No. 6 Bond Smoother Reparative Styling Creme, to slick Theron’s blonde hair back into a low bun.

Vanessa Hudgens

Debuting her baby bump, Hudgens is absolutely glowing in a black Vera Wang Couture gown. Celebrity hairstylist Danielle Priano used two new products from SexyHair on the actress’s half-up hair: Healthy SexyHair Smooth Stunner Blowout Creme and Healthy SexyHair Shine Show Blowout Spray. She also lengthened her strands using The Hair Shop extensions.

“To prep Vanessa’s skin, I applied the (pregnancy safe!) Naked Sundays CabanaGlow SPF50 Mineral Glow Serum Drops in the shade Bronze by buffing it into the skin with the SPF BFF Brush,” says celebrity makeup artist Tonya Brewer. “I love the warm, glowy and illuminating finish this serum gives!”

Julianne Hough

The laser-cut bob, the laser-cut jawline—Julianne Hough is stunning on the red carpet. The pink lip and cheek, and dark, defined brow were all created using Charlotte Tilbury makeup. Celebrity makeup artist Sofia Tilbury (Charlotte’s niece) used Hot Lips in shade Kim K.W. on the lips and the Beauty Light Wand in shade Pinkgasm on the cheeks.

Issa Rae

President Barbie is giving gorgeous, glistening skin! The plunging neckline on her AMI Paris gown shows off her glistening décolleté, and her dramatic top knot keeps the hair off her face, letting her flawless skin shine.

Florence Pugh

The Oppenheimer actress walked the red carpet in a showstopping Del Core gown complete with a bedazzled corset. Her platinum hair was the perfect accessory, and was styled by celebrity hairstylist Adir Abergel, who drew inspiration from a “modern-day bombshell hairstyle with a carefree, lived-in, glamorous vibe.” He wanted the look to be a celebration of Oppenheimer’s 13 Oscars nominations with a nod to the 1990’s early Madonna era.

On damp hair, Abergel added Virtue Volumizing Mousse to the roots and then blow-dried it. Once dry and curled, he added Virtue Texturizing Spray at the roots to create that soft, piecey effect.

Brittany Snow

We can’t take our eyes off the Red, White and Blue actress’s polished strands—not a single hair is out of place—and fluttery lashes. Her glam squad nailed it with the perfect complement to her custom Mônot yellow gown.

“I was inspired by Brittany’s beautiful, blue eyes and I wanted to enhance them with eyeshadow shades in neutral, warm tones,” says celebrity makeup artist Samuel Paul. “I achieved this by applying CHANEL Les 4 Ombres Multi-Effect Quadra Eyeshadow in Tissé Vendôme.”

Snow also prepped her skin with Kate Somerville’s Signature Facial and skin care (she’s been a client at Somerville’s Clinic for years), as well as a Laser Genesis treatment.

Hailee Steinfeld

We’re loving this glamorous look on the actress, who is attending on behalf of her recent film Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, which is nominated for “Best Animated Feature” tonight. Her chic, side part and low bun combination highlights her sun-kissed skin, feathery brow and ethereal Elie Saab gown.
