What exactly are “barbed wire brows?” The look centers around shaping individual sections of the brow hairs into spikes, separated enough to appear like real-life eyebrow slits across the arch. The variations we’ve seen so far range from subtle to bold, but all styles lift the face and give a snatched appearance as a result of their linear and sleek form.
The key to nailing this high-fashion look, according to celebrity makeup artists, is a good brow gel. You want a product that is moldable but also dries clear and holds well so you don’t have to worry about the brows losing their distinct shape.
