The Actor Awards, formerly known as the Screen Actors Guild Awards, always brings us a feast of fashion and glam. This year, as with so many years past, some of the best looks are being delivered by women over 50. Something about the sartorial choices and glam felt more fun than usual, from top hats to feather boas, and the glam obliged accordingly. It was hard to pick, but these are some of our favorite looks the women over 50 brought to the 2026 Actor Awards red carpet.
The Women Over 50 at the 2026 Actor Awards That Blew Us Away
Ali Larter
Landman star Ali Larter has had our jaws dropping all award show season, but tonight’s look might be her best yet. From the merlot dress that has her looking absolutely snatched to the matching bold lip, this is definitely a showstopper of the night. Celebrity makeup artist Kelsey Deenihan says the inspiration was classic glamour. "The rich merlot gown led the story, so we paired it with luminous sculpted skin and a bold wine lip to mirror that depth." Deenihan used the new Luminous Silk Natural Glow Blurring Foundation ($68) and Lip Power Lipstick in shade 404 ($48).

Sheryl Lee Ralph
The kiss curl, the pixie cut, the feather boa, we love everything about this look from Sheryl Lee Ralph. Even better? She looks like she’s having the time of her life.

Fran Drescher
Leave it to the flashy girl from Flushing to show up on the red carpet wearing a top hat, sequined dress and pink feather shawl, and perfectly pull it off. We also loved the monochrome cheek and lip moment paired with some of the longest lashes on the carpet.

Viola Davis
There’s something about the way emerald looks on Viola Davis that’s just magical. From the shiny dress to the huge rock around her neck, the color suits her so splendidly. It's a look to remember.

Parker Posey
The 57-year-old star looked like an absolute doll in her pink gown with baby doll blush to match. “Today’s look on Parker Posey is all about feminine fun and joyful springtime energy," says celebrity makeup artist Jo Baker.

Demi Moore
Demi Moore wore her hair slicked back so it was all about the makeup and the dress. The perfectly paired pink blush and lip brought a lively spring feeling to her glam.

Calista Flockhart
The stunning Calista Flockhart is supporting her husband, Harrison Ford, as he receives the Lifetime Achievement Award this evening, and she’s looking stunning doing it. Her perfectly highlighted bob is waved to perfection, and the bright lip adds a pop of color to her black dress.

Kristen Wiig
The comedian is practically oozing California cool on the red carpet. Her hair looks so amazing, it might be the exact photo we take to our colorist. Plus, she makes the case that you’re never too old to rock a little side boob.

Liza Colón-Zayas
We love a jumpsuit moment on a red carpet, and Liza Colón-Zayas nailed her look, and, of course, her signature curly pixie cut is styled to perfection.

Gwyneth Paltrow
The lace deep V gown Gwyneth Paltrow is wearing on the red carpet really blew us away, and the addition of turquoise earrings really made the look pop. She kept the glam simple because the dress was the main attraction.

Kathryn Hahn
We love how Kathryn Hahn paired a laid-back piecey ponytail look with a big tulle gown. The star has always known how to have fun with her fashion and glam choices, and it makes awaiting her arrival so joyful.

Patricia Arquette
Patricia Arquette went with timeless, natural-looking hair and glam. The standout for us was her dusty rose nude lip shade.
