Is Sydney Sweeney Building a Beauty Brand? Here’s What We Know

Sydney Sweeney filed a trademark for potential beauty products under Syrn, following the launch of her lingerie line. Here's what we know so far.

Originally reported by WWD, documents filed with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office show that Anyone But You actress Sydney Sweeney has filed a trademark application for her brand, Syrn, covering skin care and cosmetic products.

The application is an “intent-to-use” filing, meaning the brand is reserving the mark for future use before selling products or services. Simplified, it seems that Sweeney—or Syrn—doesn’t have beauty products waiting in the wings and ready to hit the market tomorrow. Rather, this type of filing indicates they are preparing for either future expansion or for products in development.

That said, Sweeney is moving quickly. Syrn is also the name of her newly launched lingerie line, which went live just last week with a lineup of bras, corsets and other pieces. They sold out within days, so we’re curious if her eventual beauty products will do the same.

This isn’t Sweeney’s first step into the beauty space. She’s partnered with Armani Beauty as a face of the brand, frequently wearing products such as the Luminous Silk Hydrating and Brightening Concealer ($42), Luminous Silk Cheek Tint ($40) and Luminous Silk Creamy Bronzing Powder ($59). She also works with Laneige as a global ambassador, counting the brand’s Bouncy & Firm Sleeping Mask ($36) among her favorites.

Some of Sweeney’s most recognizable beauty moments include her Old Hollywood–inspired bob, signature suede-blond hair and luminous, soft-glam makeup. At the 2025 Met Gala, she turned heads with a sleek bun finished with sculptural “finger swirls” along her hairline.

There’s no timeline yet for if—or when—a beauty line from Sweeney might launch, so for now, it’s a wait-and-see moment as to whether she opts for makeup, skin care, hair care or a mix of all three.
