Selena Gomez has been having a big beauty moment during his season's awards, and tonight's Oscars are no exception.
As shared by her go-to nail artist and award's constant Tom Bachik, tonight’s Oscars look was what he calls the "Peach Champagne Mani"—and the jaw-dropping look calls for some celebration.
“We kept Selena’s natural nails an elegant medium length and perfected her classic almond shape," says Bachik. "Sel and I worked together to create a custom nail shade for tonight using CND shades—a peachy pink golden iridescent sparkle to play off the gems and texture in her Ralph Lauren gown. To achieve this, we used a thin coat of CND™ SHELLAC in Rule Breaker layered with Silk Thread from CND’s latest Quite Luxury Collection. Sel loved how it turned out!”
To start, Bachik used Tweezerman X Tom Bachik Ultimate Nail Care Set ($59) to prep and shape the nails.
"For an Oscar-worthy mani, I started the look with @cndworldwear extender base coat," shares Bachik on Instagram. "I applied one coat of #CND shellac in Rule Breaker and Silk Thread, finishing the look with #CND shellac no-wipe top coat."
As final steps, Bachik rehydrate the cuticles with CND SolarOil ($10), and moisturized Gomez's hands with La Mer Hand Treatment ($115).
