To create the look, he used CND’s Shellac Gel Polish in Berry Boudoir ($17) and topped it with the brand's No-Wipe Top Coat before finishing with the Lightning Oil on her cuticles. The result? A rich berry manicure with patent-leather-like shine.
According to Bachik, the inspiration came from Gomez’s lip choice for the Academy Gala. On his Instagram, the celebrity manicurist explains that the idea was to custom-match her nails to her lip color. The matching look proved to be a winner.
