The 48-year-old actress recently attended a New York screening of You're Cordially Invited—which hits theaters tomorrow—wearing not just the cult-favorite lipstick but also a little something underneath to perfect the ever-popular muted berry lip trend.
Celebrity makeup artist Kelsey Deenihan was the creative force behind Witherspoon's makeup for the evening, as revealed in an Instagram post teasing the products she used. While she didn’t share the full lineup, she did break down her “perfect muted berry lip combo.” According to Deenihan, she started with Clinique's Pop Longwear Lipstick in Blushing Pop ($26), then layered Almost Lipstick in Black Honey ($25) on top for a subtle flush of color that complemented her natural glam perfectly.
Though Deenihan is a Clinique partner and likely required to use the brand's products in her work, it’s undeniable that these picks look like they were made for Witherspoon. Fans of the makeup artist flocked to the comments section to rave about the look. One asked for details on the foundation she used, to which Deenihan replied that it was Clinique's Even Better Foundation ($39) in the shade Bone (04). For those unfamiliar with the formula, it’s a fan favorite, thanks to its brightening vitamin C, SPF protection, and radiant, natural finish.
