CMA’s 2023 Entertainer of the Year, Yellowstone guest star and Grammy nominee, Lainey Wilson, has hit tonight’s red carpet, and we know one very specific all-in-one product that helped her get that glow.
“My inspiration was Bridget Bardot, but with a modern twist in keeping radiance, dimension and color in the skin,” says makeup artist Nikki DeRoest, who prepped Wilson. “As an artist, I’m known for skin and radiant looks, but a key tool to my carpet looks is keeping that radiance and flawless appearance happening on the body as well so it’s all a cohesive look.”
For “evening and smoothing” Wilson’s chest and neck area, DeRoest used with ALLEVEN Colour Shield Glow ($52) in Pearl. The face and body product creates an ultra-fine mist for a natural, velvet-like finish that “wears all day” via skin-tone adapting pigments with skin-care benefits.
Another fun fact: The product was used on the set of Barbie.
“I applied it with a brush since we were working as a team and I wanted to have control of how much went on and where I was applying,” DeRoest says.
In addition, she applied ALLEVEN INSTANT Lip Cheek Eye in Gold ($35) as a “final touch for a radiant gold highlight that will stay all day on the high points of the cheekbones.”
