Last night, Isabella Rossellini treated members of her Lancôme family and friends (she started as a spokeswoman with the brand in 1982 and helped develop the iconic Trésor, which she proudly displayed a supersized version of in her home) to a special virtual screening of her film, Sex & Consequences.

The self-performed sequel to her award-winning Sundance series, Green Porno, showcases the subject of biodiversity and animal reproduction, which the model-actress streamed live from her farm in Bellport, NY—with the help of some of her chicken (and hen) housemates.

Completing the night with a Q&A session following the show, Rossellini switched from the subject of farm animals to beauty, sharing with viewers that she’s been getting a bit more “creative” with makeup during the time of COVID.

“As an actress, you tend to go to work without makeup on at 5 in the morning and the makeup artist works on ‘making you up’ for an hour or two hours,” the 68-year-old said. “Sometimes, I’d do my makeup on the weekend but, generally, makeup, for me, when I’m shooting for a magazine or for a film, is delegated to the artist.”

“Instead, now I’m doing it myself! I just did a series for HBO and there was a makeup artist, but it was recommended, because of COVID, that we do our own. So, I did, and I enjoyed it—I like to create my own makeup because you can give a lot of personality to whatever you’re doing.”
