The first Monday of the year is notoriously hard as it signals a hard stop from all of the holiday and new year shenanigans, but singer Ashley Frangipane, aka Halsey, is making it a little bit brighter this year with the release of her new makeup line About Face Beauty. Although she's been working on this project for quite some time now, she's kept the news under wraps until today.
Created from the former makeup artist's desire to make beauty that works hard for you, her new line includes a deeply pigmented Matte Fluid Eye Paint ($24) (think liquid lipstick for your lids), Shadowsticks ($21), Light Lock highlighters in liquid ($32), powder ($30) and cream ($25) formulations, and a Paint-It Matte Liquid Color ($22) that like the eye paint delivers a powerful tint in six stunning warm hues.
The brand calls itself multi-dimensional as it focuses on, “giving everyone the power to represent themselves and celebrate one another.” All products are vegan, cruelty-free and formulated without synthetic fragrances, parabens, phthalates and glutens.
While previously, the site aboutface.com was password-protected so hardcore fans of the singer could get a sneak peak, today marks the first day everyone can pre-order the collection on the site. The singer joins Selena Gomez, JLO and Pharrell on the list of celebrities who've recently launched a beauty brand. We can't wait to try out all of these goodies and report back.
