Apparently I’m not the only one who feels that way. When Glossier founder Emily Weiss polled her readers on her site Into the Gloss, hundreds of responses came back from people saying they just really wanted a product that could do it all: remove makeup efficiently, be gentle and condition skin. Their feedback helped shape the newest addition to the Glossier line, the Milky Jelly Cleanser, which is formulated to—you guessed it—be an all-in-one solution for your cleansing needs.
Weiss describes the cleanser as “jellified micellar water,” a solution that does the job of a face wash, makeup remover and skin conditioner. The gel formula is blended with five different skin conditioners, rosewater and the same gentle cleansing agent also found in contact lens solution. The product, which can be used on either wet or dry skin, leaves your skin clear and clean without feeling stripped. The cleanser doesn’t suds up but lathers smoothly and spreads easily, making a light pump all you need to cover your entire face. And best of all, it’s so gentle, that it’s perfectly fine to use all over the eye area, therefore eliminating yet another step from the nightly routine.
