Chelsea Lazkani is defending herself against allegations that she's had plastic surgery. The Selling Sunset star hopped on X on May 28 to shut down a now-deleted post that accused her of altering her face.

"I never touched my face," she wrote. "Please stop this, I added weight, stopped wearing heavy makeup, eyeshadow and lashes. If you don’t like my natural face just say that." Lazkani continued in a second post, "All this what did you do to your face nonsense… always had almond eyes, a tiny nose and full lips. I was just 40 pounds skinnier looking like a skeleton."

Lazkani has found herself on the receiving end of unsolicited commentary about her body before. Earlier this month she called out the unnamed fans and commenters who have made remarks about her recent weight gain. "‘Chelsea you look so different’ - yeah I was 100lb looking malnourished before," she wrote on May 13. In a follow-up post, the reality star revealed that she's recently gained 40 pounds.

"God forbid a girl decides she no longer wants to look like a twig," she wrote in another post. Lazkani isn't the only celebrity who's had to deny plastic surgery rumors in recent months. Earlier this week in an interview with Elle, Lindsay Lohan and her publicist briefly set the record straight and shut down allegations that the Freaky Friday star got a facelift (she did subtly confirm in the same interview that she's gotten Botox, but as she puts it, "Everyone does Botox.")

Trying to guess whether or not a celebrity has had plastic surgery certainly isn't new, though it seems to be happening a lot more often in the age of social media. Lazkani's recent clapbacks serve as a reminder that plastic surgery speculation and comments on womens' bodies can be hurtful and unnecessary.
