One of the quickest and easiest ways to get your feet looking and feeling fresh and fabulous is with a medical pedicure.

Performed at your podiatrist’s office, this specialized treatment targets unsightly and uncomfortable conditions like corns, calluses, ingrown toenails and fungus.

Unlike a traditional pedicure, which just shapes the nails and uses a pumice stone to soften feet, this treatment is completely medically based.

Typically, it starts with a chemical peel or manual exfoliation to slough away dry skin. Next, a sterilized dental drill may be used to shape the nail. Finally, polish is painted on the toenails.
