I think I’ve finally figured out why I’m so inept when it comes to doing my own nails. Patience! Or in my case, a lack thereof. After I take the time to careful paint on polish, I take absolutely no time to let it dry. I get antsy and go right back to doing normal activities that inevitably mar my manicure.
The days of insta-smudge nails may finally be over for me, however. I’ve discovered Rimmel London‘s brilliant-in-more-ways-than-one 60 Seconds nail polish. True to its name, this lacquer dries in just a minute!
Bold and beautiful with just one coat, even the application is faster than usual. The finish is glossy, glamorous and water-resistant, so even though it sets quickly, it takes a long time to reach the point of re-polishing.
Now if only I could steady my hand so the polish doesn’t completely engulf my cuticles…
