When Seth Meyers stepped out on the Emmys’ red carpet last night to celebrate his nomination, he had the help of a little no-nonsense, dermatologist-beloved skin care by his side (or, more accurately, on his skin).
According to celebrity groomer Christine Nelli, who prepped Seth’s skin with CeraVe, “healthy and hydrated skin is the key foundation to a sharp, long-lasting red carpet look.”
Her starting point with Seth: CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser ($17) “to refresh and cleanse the face of any impurities. For normal to oily skin, the formula is gentle and effective.”
Next, Nelli applied a dime-size amount of CeraVe AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 ($14) evenly over Seth’s face—and, listen-up for some super smart sun-protection, his neck!—to “provide long-lasting hydration and broad-spectrum sun protection.”
For the finishing touch, Nells used her fingertips to gently apply a drop of the brand’s new Skin Renewing Eye Cream ($20) back and forth under Seth’s eyes to visibly smooth and brighten the area.
