We’re not the only ones to get WAY excited about a new beauty launch. Five months before its official roll-out, Sephora is stocking a limited run of lab samples (or products in non-final packaging) of Living Proof’s latest product, Restore Dry Scalp Treatment ($32).
Ideal for those with itchy, flaky or sensitive scalps, the product zooms in on the scalp’s microbiome and balances its bacteria to keep the environment as happy and calm as possible. A proprietary hyaluronic acid–based molecular patch allows for a slow-release of hydrating, calming ingredients over time, instead of similar products that only promise quick relief for a few minutes.

The treatment is totally invisible and feels weightless when applied on the scalp—it boasts a concentrated applicator that makes sectioning hair easy. Designed to be used on clean, damp hair in multiple sections—six in the front (three on each side) and four in the back—and massaged in, it’s a seamless addition to the leave-in conditioner or detangler you probably apply post-shower.
The limited-edition samples are full-size—the final products will be the same price—and will be sold while supplies last. According to the brand, the retailer has a few thousand SKUs, so they’re sure to go fast.
