From his One Direction days to his solo world tours and his latest stint as a judge on The Voice, Niall Horan has been one of our favorite Irishmen throughout his career. The now 29-year-old looks just at youthful and radiant as he did as a 17-year-old on the British X-Factor, and now, the star revealed the skin-care secrets behind his ageless beauty.
In a recent interview with Vogue, Horan took viewers on a tour of his extravagant, 22-step self-care routine which included tons of viral products like the MAKE Beauty Micro Crystalline Exfoliating Face Mask ($36) and the Sarah Chapman Skinesis Intense Hydrating Booster ($110). “When I was younger, I didn’t really care [about skin care]—I was really a boy about it,” the singer began, but explained further that a busy schedule and the puffy, tired skin that came with it helped him to realize that “we need our skin too, lads.”
Though the star does have a regime of high-end products that help keep him looking and feeling his best, he revealed that the Hana Emi Steel Ice Globes ($27) is the one tool that makes the biggest difference. “Once they get workin’, they can just take some of that swelling out your face,” he raves. “Out of all the things that I use, I see the most [effectiveness from] these.” Another key practice he swears by for refreshing his skin and keeping his vocal cords in check is facial steaming; “I’m a really big believer in steam,” he says. “I think it’s really good for my voice as well.”
