If you have a sneaking suspicion that supermodels aren’t actually human, you’re not alone. But rest assured, they are. Well, sort of. They are the “super” kind of human-the kind that makes aging look effortless and beautiful. Naomi Campbell is a great example of this. But it turns out, the 42-year-old model doesn’t only rely on superhuman powers (aka great genes) to stay in such fabulous shape, and we have proof.

When we see pictures of Naomi on the runway or red carpet, we’re always astounded by how fresh-faced she is. Celebrity makeup artist Benjamin Puckey says a lot of it has to do with the makeup. He uses a warm-toned concealer on Naomi. “It removes signs of fatigue and gives an optical lift,” he says. “Highlighter is another secret. A dot of Tom Ford Illuminating Highlighting Pen in Liquid Bronze ($52) on the inner corners of the eyes and cream highlighter on her cheeks, nose and cupid’s-bow gives a glowing look.”

That’s not to say, however, that she doesn’t invest in great skin care. Celebrity aesthetician Susan Ciminelli says the supermodel uses products from her seaweed range, like the Algae Fine Powder, Algae Deep Cleanse and Marine Lotion (Starting at $65).

Naomi is also a fan of the European Facial ($65) at Mario Badescu in New York, and treats her skin to the deep-pore cleansing service on a regular basis to get rid of impurities and target specific problems.

As for her killer curves, three times per year, Naomi detoxes with maple syrup, cayenne pepper and lemon juice. She also skips rope, which she says, helps her face maintain its contours.
