If you’re both an avid TikTok user and a beauty lover, you inevitably have seen Mikayla Nogueira on your feed. Famous for her incredible glam looks and her iconic Boston accent, Nogueira has quickly become a makeup superstar across social media. While many of us know the star’s product lineup and techniques when it comes to makeup—got to make that wing “shaaaappp”, you know?—what many of us don’t know is what the influencer uses to keep her skin shining behind the scenes.
In a recent TikTok video, Nogueira revealed that in the past, she’s struggled with breakouts on account of not having a skin-care routine. But, the creator shared that, recently, she’s developed a consistent daily routine that has totally transformed her skin.

In a quick but informative, 3-minute TikTok, Nogueira began by showing pictures of her skin before she began her new routine, and the difference from then to now is clear. To start her routine, Mikayla removes her makeup with the Dermalogica Precleanse Cleansing Oil ($15). “I apply this to dry skin and basically it melts all the makeup off,” she says. After rinsing with warm water, she goes in with Dermalogica’s Special Cleansing Gel ($13), which she works into damp skin for “at least 60 seconds.”
Her next step includes yet another Dermalogica product, but don’t fret—she specified before the tutorial began that none of this is sponsored and she buys all these products with her own hard-earned cash. Using the brand’s Daily Microfoliant ($65), Nogueira mixes the powder formula with water and works the mixture onto her skin. “You can use this everyday,” she begins, “I don’t; I do it every couple of days when I feel it’s needed.” The next product in the star’s lineup is one she swears by for anyone who has acne—the Oil La La Smoothing Serum ($28). Nogueira says that this hero product from Krave Beauty “transformed [her] skin like crazy,” and she also uses it on her husband who has acne-prone skin, and says the difference has been extraordinary.
Nearing the end of her routine, the makeup artist explains “I’m a little red now from doing all that skin care, but I’m going to go in with Dermalogica’s Calm Water Gel ($55) which is going to calm all that redness down. It’s a super light gel, but it feels like you’ve taken a drink of water.” After letting the skin “calm down” for a few minutes, Mikayla shows off her clean, cared-for complexion, and I just have one thing to say: glass skin.
Offering one final piece of advice for viewers, Nogueira says that if she ever gets breakouts now, she never picks or pops, but rather sticks on one of Mighty Patch’s The Original ($10) to get rid of blemishes “overnight.” I don’t know about you, but I will definitely be adding these products to my holiday wish list ASAP.
