Celeb makeup artist Daniel Martin is the latest expert to share all his glowing-complexion secrets in this week’s The Cut’s “Why Is Your Skin So Good?” column. And, when Martin—who did Meghan Markle’s wedding-day makeup—dishes on his favorite beauty product, you better believe we are listening.

Some highlights from his personal must-have list: Joanna Vargas’ Vitamin C Face Wash ($40), which Martin says he’s been using for two weeks to “amazing” results; his Paris fashion-week find of Bioderma Atoderm SOS Anti-itching Spray ($14) that calms down skin; a super hydrating, safe-for-sensitive-skin SPF option via SIGI Skin’s Morning Glow Physical Sunscreen ($58); and Skin Inc.’s decidedly high-tech Optimizer Voyage Tri-Light++ device ($295).

“Joanna [Vargas] is a big advocate of using LED light to help with skin-cell renewal, and this Tri-Light is amazing,” Martin shared. “It has five different LED color settings, and it only takes ten minutes to see results. I go back and forth between using the red light to help with fine lines and uneven skin tone and the blue light to target acne spots. It’s a little on the pricier side, but it’s been an incredible investment.”
