On New Year’s Day, MAC Cosmetics declared that sending nudes was in for 2025. With the brand’s cheeky names and sultry marketing, we didn’t necessarily think twice about the double entendre. Then they continued the brilliant rollout, teasing that they would be leaking their own nudes—lipsticks, that is.
MAC recently announced that they’ve brought back some of their most iconic nude lipstick shades, for good. Fans have been begging for these nudes to be released from the archive and they’re finally here, including the beloved Fleshpot, Hodgepodge, Peachstock, Stone, Folio, Yash and Acting Natural.
The shades are available across a variety of finishes like MACximal Silky Matte ($25) and Sleek Satin Lipsticks ($25), Powder Kiss Liquid Lipcolours ($28), Lustreglass Sheer-Shine Lipsticks and the Lip Pencil ($27). This revival comes just in time as the brown, neutral and nude lip looks that were 90s favorites trend again.
In addition to the cult classics returning, there are also new shades like Cool Teddy, Chestnut, Cool Spice and It’s Personal! Warning: these nudes are hot, and we’ve noticed some shades are selling out, so grab your favorites ASAP.
