When summer rolls around, we often toss our bland winter hues and start experimenting with brighter shades across our wardrobe and makeup. While we scour Pinterest boards for summer nail designs and debate whether Barbie pink is in or out, this week Kylie Jenner went back to our collective nail roots, debuting a chic and timeless pedicure for summer.
Kyle Jenner’s Classic French Pedicure
The French manicure/pedicure has recently undergone some serious makeovers, with most people opting for colored tips or chunky, abstract lines, but Kylie Jenner’s summer pedicure takes the style back to its early ’90s roots. Paired with some butter-yellow strappy sandals (is butter yellow the shade of the summer?), Jenner showed off her classic French pedicure, complete with a pale pink base and a white tip.
For her mani, Jenner sported her signature almond-shaped glossy tips, but we couldn’t help but be drawn to her chic pedi. The ultra-thin tip is giving baby French, and the classic color palette immediately transported us back to a simpler time. Instead of Barbie pink or royal blue, we might just be going back to a simple French for summer.
