With three mega brand names under her belt, Kim Kardashian is a pronounced serial entrepreneur. But, the 41-year-old is hungry for more, and global beauty conglomerate Coty is feeding her desire to create.

Back in June of 2020, Coty acquired a 20 percent stake of Kardashian’s KKW Beauty in a $200 million deal. But, according to Business of Fashion, the mega manufacturer is going all-in on their next contract with Kardashian, as they are founding a skin-care line together. Finally launching this spring, between 4/1 through 6/30, the line has been underway since the brand’s acquisition of KKW Beauty in 2020.

In August of 2021, Kardashian took a pause from KKW Beauty, taking to Instagram to announce that she was preparing for a relaunch. Fast forward to today, the brand is still under construction. “We are working on a new, more modern, elevated, and sustainable brand and customer experience—the way Kim has always envisioned,” says the Instagram post on the KKW Beauty account.

Per Business of Fashion, this upcoming skin-care line is the first element of the new and improved brand that the pair is unveiling. Coty chief executive Sue Y. Nabi says that color cosmetics will not be making a reappearance for the time being. “We are focusing on skin care,” says Nabi in an interview with the publication. “We really wanted to create something disruptive and top-notch in terms of quality and ingredients. So we are focusing on making this a huge success and then we will see for the other categories later.”
