While we’ve all be engrossed in the world of SKKN, OG fans remember the world of KKW Beauty and Fragrance that preceded Kim Kardashian’s skin-care empire. While KKW Beauty closed its virtual doors in August of 2021 and KKW Fragrance followed in August of 2022 to make room for Kardashian’s now mega viral skin-care line, SKKN, makeup and fragrance fans have began to lament the former endeavors as of late.

While skin care was long the hottest topic amongst TikTok beauty lovers, trends have shifted recently and have brought makeup and fragrance products back into the spotlight. As a result, tons of former KKW Beauty fans have began to poke Kim on social for the return of her iconic lip liners and other such makeup products, and per a recent Instagram video, it seems the celeb is listening.

What We Know About the Return of Kim Kardashian Makeup

While we often think our comments on our fave celebrities Instagram’s go unnoticed, Kim’s latest post of the SKKN account proves that is not always the case. “Alright guys, I’ve been reading your comments on the SKKN account, and so many of you want us to bring back color cosmetics,” Kim began. She went on to read and showcase a flood of comments from fans on screen, urging sentiments like “Kim, we need the makeup, we’re dying out here!”

Without giving away too much, but satisfying fans’ desperation for Kardashian’s makeup products, Kim ended the video by simply saying “we hear you,” before flashing the date 1/26/2024 across the screen. The caption for Kardashian’s mysterious reel read “We got the hint. Stay tuned for a BIG announcement…” and the aforementioned announcement just hit IG feeds moments ago.

Introducing SKKN BY KIM MAKEUP

Mere minutes ago, Kim posted on Instagram introducing her return to color cosmetics with her new line, SKKN BY KIM MAKEUP, “where skin-loving formulas meet high-performance glam.” Complete with a photo of the new products, dawning the same minimalistic packaging as SKKN’s skin-care products, the exciting announcement reveals that the new launch—dropping on January 26th—will include 10, full-coverage matte lipsticks, 15 long-wear matte lip pencils and a classic mattes eyeshadow palette.

“I’ve recently been taking a skin-first approach towards my beauty routine,” Kim wrote in the caption, “In developing SKKN BY KIM Makeup, my goal was not only to create universally-flattering cosmetic essentials, but also to ensure that our products are clean, hydrating, and help improve the look and feel of skin with every wear.”
