Fitness Vs. Finances

With a worrisome economy hovering over the country like an ominous gray cloud, Americans are starting to pay more attention to their financial situation than their looks and health. According to a survey conducted by Countrywide, a majority of people-57%-are concerned about love handles, but even more-67%-want to get a handle on their money.

“The results of the survey are an indicator that people are finally putting financial health on par with physical health,” psychologist Dr. Melody Alderman in a Countrywide statement.

Men, especially dads, feel pretty secure about their finances. But only 37% of women feel financially secure-a minority that resembles this country’s lack of female body confidence.
