“A lot of people don’t realize I have to do my own hair on the road,” sports commentator Erin Andrews recently told The Strategist. Her non-glam-squad go-to for getting on-camera ready: R+Co Dart Pomade Stick ($23).

“My makeup artist introduced me to this stick, and it is amazing,” Andrews shared. “So now when I do my sit-downs or my first shoot, I just take it and apply it and it helps mat down my flyaways and get them to stick. It’s about the size of a jumbo lipstick, so it’s easy to keep with you and throw in your purse.”

The tiny wonder utilizes hydrating castor seed oil, plant-powered candelilla wax and jojoba esters and, according to the brand, is great for not only flyaways, but texture and “groomed definition” as well.

As Andrews previously shared with us, she also has some other beauty go-tos for when her glam isn’t available.

“Nudestix was a big one for me if my glam girl wasn’t around and especially for all these Zooms. I just can’t do my eyes; I suck at my eyes. Someone should give me a coloring book and say, ‘One goes here, two goes here.’ But Nudestix are foolproof—you can throw them on your eyelid and use your finger and spread it out. I’m really into them. A Charlotte Tilbury palette is also always so good for me because all the colors are there and I know they will work on camera. I know if I’m by myself, I can handle it.”
