“I pay a little extra attention to anything I put on my lips or soak my body in for a prolonged period of time (i.e., my nightly soak). I’ve used the Babo Botanical Lip Tints ($10) for ages. The color is great, but I love the fact that it has SPF even more—definitely a no-brainer for summer. On my current bath rotation: Anything and everything Indie Lee or OSEA, especially if it’s an oil or a salt, and a custom-blended essential oil I made at Naturopathica’s Spa (heavy on the Holy Basil). On my forever skin-care list: Tammy Fender’s Epi Peel ($80) and Tata Harper’s Elixir Vitae ($475). I can’t think of two more reliable products to prompt the ‘Did you get a facial?‘ question.”

“Though I, alongside many of my industry peers, constantly find myself questioning the term ‘clean beauty’ and what it really means, these are some of the standouts from brands who categorize themselves as such:

I love so many products from KOSAS—Sheena is a rockstar. The Weightless Lipstick in Thrillest ($28) is the first thing I ever tried, and I still love it today. Other newer favorites include Cloud Set Setting Powder ($34), The Sun Show Bronzer ($34), and The Wet Lip Oil Gloss ($27). Same with Beautycounter: First, Jennifer Garner and I both share a love for The Clean Deo ($28), a 2021 NewBeauty Award Winner. It doesn’t irritate my armpits and actually doesn’t make me stink—I was an antiperspirant devotee for most of my life. The Counter+ Overnight Resurfacing Peel ($65)is awesome for both a quick skin reset and a long-term skin-maintenance plan, depending on where chemical exfoliation fits into your routine. And lastly, the Counter+ All Bright C Serum ($82) is a favorite for brightening, and every friend I’ve recommended it to has ordered it again. Some of the other must-haves in my rotation are RMS Beauty “Un” Cover-Up ($36), Tata Harper’s new Vitamin-Infused Cream Blush in Peachy ($42), and Odele Leave-In Conditioner ($12)—the packaging is so chic and looks amazing in my shower, and you can’t beat the price at Target.”

“There are so many great clean beauty standouts on the shelves today, it’s so hard to pick a few, but these are the ones I’ve been keeping on constant rotation: Hairstory’s New Wash ($40), which has been a shower staple for years for its ease of use and conditioning formula that is sulfate-free, detergent-free, paraben-free and synthetic fragrance-free. I’m also a huge fan of Captain Blankenship’s Golden Waves Sea Salt Summer Spray ($16-$28) which contains organic and wild-harvested ingredients. Similarly, Sangre de Fruta’s Neroli & Myrrh Botanical Face Wash ($88) is formulated with natural ingredients like neroli, cooling myrrh, and island-grown immortelle. Rituel de Fille’s Ethereal Veil Concealer ($34) and Merit Beauty’s The Minimalist ($38) are travel-friendly complexion perfectors that melt into my skin for a natural-looking finish. The green tea and aloe vera extracts in Tower 28’s Beach Please Luminous Tinted Balm in Happy Hour ($20) are perfect for giving my cheeks and lips extra hydration with a pop of sun-kissed pink that instantly brightens my face. Tok Beauty’s plant-based and ethically sourced Eyes that Tok Mascara ($23) strengthens my lashes while giving them an extra oomph that lasts all day. Malin + Goetz Botanical Deodorant ($22) helped me put the aluminum down with all-natural ingredients like coconut oil, witch hazel, and barley powders which work to neutralize odors.”

Lazartigue Nourishing Shampoo ($32): Aside from the boost of hydration it gives my strands, this softening shampoo smells like an island getaway and it’s made out of 95 percent natural ingredients.

MUTHA Body Butter ($95): This luscious and nourishing body cream—it houses whipped shea butter, cocoa and mango butters—will never not be the first product I reach for when I get out of the shower. I like to apply it all over and hang out in a robe for a while to give this some time to sink into the skin.

Weleda Skin Food ($19): I know this moisturizer is classified as a skin-care product, but I like to look at it as a step of my makeup routine. Before I apply foundation, I use this thick cream as a moisturizer to achieve that sought-after ‘glass skin’ effect. Not only does it give me the glow of my dreams, but it makes my foundation look more natural, too.”

“I joke that my final dollars on earth will probably go towards another jar of Tata Harper’s Resurfacing Mask ($65)—there’s really nothing quite like it for a quick skin refresh. TULA’s The Cult Classic Cleanser ($28) has been a mainstay in my routine for years and delivers truly clean, supple skin every time—it also removes all of my eye makeup which is a major time—and sanity—saver. On a makeup front, ILIA Super Serum Skin Tint ($48) delivers the perfect barely there wash of color with added SPF. I always top it with pore-blurring Kosas Cloud Set ($34) for an airbrushed finish. HIGHR Beauty makes the most beautiful, creamy Lipsticks ($28)—I’m a sucker for Chateau.”
