According to WWD, Chanel is launching a sustainably-sourced makeup and skin-care line—it’s called No.1.—and it’s hitting shelves today. Don’t know where to find it? The nine-piece refillable collection, which features makeup, skin care and a fragrance, is available on the brand’s website and at Ulta.

The formulas house a wide range of plant-based ingredients, but at the heart of each product lives the red camellia flower, which the brand says supports skin vitality and protects the dermis against harsh environmental aggressors. Chanel also claims that the ingredient targets the first signs of aging on the skin, diminishing the appearance of wrinkles by 25 percent, refreshing the appearance of pores by 25 percent and increasing elasticity by 25 percent. In a self-assessment by 45 women, 81 percent reported that their skin felt more comfortable immediately after use.

Aside from the 97-percent naturally-derived ingredients (76 percent of which are from the camellia flower), the brand is increasing its ecological efforts by using packaging designed for a reduced carbon footprint. Specifically, the lid of the No.1. De Chanel Revitalizing Cream ($110) is made with 90-percent bio-based materials, 10 percent of which are derived from camellias, the containers for the products are crafted with lighter-weight glass, the packaging is designed using organic ink and the classic paper leaflet with the brand’s original packaging has been replaced with a QR code.

The product lineup includes everything from a face balm to a serum mist, but there are a few specific newbies that we’re extra excited about: No.1. De Chanel Revitalizing Foundation ($70) comes in a whopping 20 shades and offers a buildable, luminous finish; No.1. De Chanel Revitalizing Serum ($160)—this is the line’s hero product—claims to correct the appearance of the five main signs of aging; No.1. De Chanel Powder-to-Foam Cleanser ($55) transforms from a powder to a rich lather to slough off impurities and dirt on the skin; and No.1. De Chanel Lip and Cheek Balm ($45) provides an all-over glow on the cheeks while adding a burst of color to the lips.
