Whether or not Glossier founder and fellow beauty editor Emily Weiss looked to that universally loved concealer stick as the one to beat, beat it she did. Launched as part of Glossier’s Phase 2 set, the Stretch Concealer stands out as the best product in the line. Formulated using elastic micro waxes, the concealer moves with your skin, rather than sit on top of it, so you’ll never have to worry about it caking or settling into creases. The cover-up is also infused with cocoa butter, avocado and jojoba oil to help nourish skin and give it that natural dewy suppleness.
The pigment (mineral!) is buildable for fuller coverage, but I found that just a tap or two on top of dark circles or redness really gets the job done. I used it all over my face this morning after a particularly nightmare travel incident that resulted in a 4 a.m. bedtime. “You barely had any sleep and your skin looks like that?” my coworker exclaimed while I was venting. And that, might be the best testament to how good this concealer really is. Oh, and did I mention it’s only $18?
