Let’s Just Get to the Point:
Image Skincare’s AGELESS Total Pure Hyaluronic Filler ($58) is an intensely hydrating serum that plumps up the volume in dry and dehydrated skin without leaving behind any greasiness.

If You Want to Know More:
I have naturally oily skin, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t prone to dehydration. In fact, it can get pretty parched thanks to my love of hot showers, erratic sleep habits and some oil-controlling products that worked a little too well. And because of that, my skin tends to look tired and dull but still super shiny because my oil production goes into overdrive to compensate for the lack of hydration.

This conundrum often leads me to trying all sorts of moisturizing products, but more often than not, I find that the more hydrating the product is, the heavier and stickier it is, leaving my skin looking slicker (and more broken out) than smooth. The exception? This serum, which infuses my skin with a much-needed dose of moisture without the annoying side effect. Boasting a formula with 18 percent hyaluronic acid, it is not only meant to plump up skin and “fill” in fine lines and wrinkles, but also nourish and increase elasticity with a helpful blend of apricot oil and vitamins B5 and E.

I was surprised by how thick the serum was right out of the dropper, but I was delighted to see how quickly it sunk into my skin without leaving it feeling greasy or weighed down. A full dropper delivers enough serum to spread on your face, neck, décolleté, and hands. I wore it by itself on the first night to test how effective it would be sans my regular skin care routine and woke up with skin that felt soft and supple, not tight and flaky.

The serum can be mixed with other skin care essentials to instantly boost hydration, and I quickly found myself not only adding a drop or two to my regular moisturizer, but also my eye cream, and even my mattifying SPF. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it delivered hydration without it messing up the matte finish. Ever since I started incorporating the product into my routine, my skin feels much more balanced: hydrated yet not greasy. Final verdict: This serum is not only great for dry skin types looking to maintain a solid moisture balance, but also all skin types when they need an immediate dose of hydration.
