A good, reliable beauty product doesn’t always have to be a luxury expense—even Blake Lively knows that. The 37-year-old star of Another Simple Favor recently spoke to Harper’s Bazaar about the body perfumes she’s adding to the Blake Brown Beauty product lineup. And in honor of the line being sold at Target, she briefly dove into some of her favorite drugstore products—and her list of go-tos includes some items that were in my high school makeup bag over a decade ago..
“I just recently discovered the Maybelline Fit Me Dewy and Smooth Foundation ($11), which is beautiful but harder to get,” she told the magazine. “That one I really like.” She’s also a big fan of the Physicians Formula Murumuru Butter Bronzer ($13), which she claims was “a high school staple.”
“Again, I’m pretty loyal and consistent with my products, so I don’t go and walk down the aisles,” Lively added. Another Maybelline product she’s loyal to is the Lifter Gloss ($9), a hydrating, hyaluronic acid-based formula she says she got at a Saturday Night Live afterparty. “I’m not on the take by Maybelline, I swear,” she joked. “But this is a good one.”
Lively also opened up about her travel beauty hacks, revealing that she sometimes uses baby shampoo to wash her face. “I need to be better at it,” she says. “My skincare is really lackluster.”
