Every now and again, beauty challenges take over social media. From 100 layers of makeup to #FaceFullofFood, they can be a bit bizarre. But there’s a new one circulating and it has a seriously empowering message.

#BaldAndBadChallenge is asking women with short hair to post selfies of themselves, promoting the beauty of super-short hair. Think buzzed, pixied and everything in between. Not only is this uber-cool challenge embracing the beauty of these styles, but is also supporting women who cut their hair to these lengths for alopecia, health issues or simply because they like it.
And it’s about time we showcase and celebrate short hair the same way we do long, wavy locks. Not to mention the major hair cut inspiration we’re getting just by following the hashtag. We’re starting to re-think our winter hair.
