SKKY Partners, the consumer-focused private equity firm co-founded by Kim Kardashian and Jay Sammons, has made a “significant” minority investment in luxury skin-care brand 111SKIN, according to the Business of Beauty.

Founded in 2012 by plastic and reconstructive surgeon Dr. Yannis Alexandrides and CEO Eva Alexandridis, the doctor-driven brand “bridges the gap between plastic surgery and skin care” via its proprietary NAC Y2 ingredient complex. Loved by celebrities and spa-goers, 111SKIN’s products are inspired by Dr. Yannis’ innovative in-clinic treatments and his hands-on experience with the latest aesthetic technology.

According to the Business of Beauty, the investment will “help the skin-care brand expand its direct-to-consumer business as well as push further into Asia and North America.” Financial terms of the investment were not disclosed.

The Alexandrides will retain majority ownership and continue to lead the company, along with CEO Vanessa Goddevrind.

“The SKKY Partners team has tremendous experience working with distinctive, growth-oriented brands,” Goddevrind said. “They are passionate champions of our core values and share our drive for excellence.”

Founded in 2022, SKKY Partners aims to invest in “high-growth” and “culturally relevant” brands. Its investment in 111SKIN is the firm’s first substantial entry into the beauty sector.
