Not many celebrities are that forthcoming about their cosmetic procedures, but Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is not like the rest of them.
The 28-year-old Jersey Shore star is getting Botox for the first time, and she’s taking her entire social media fanbase along for the ride.

“Today I’m getting needles in my face,” Snooki said on her Snapchat, according to a report by US Weekly. “Getting my first Botox in my forehead and plumping my lips too.”
Her doctor, New York plastic surgeon Ramtin Kassir, MD, documented the rite of passage on his Instagram.
“I’m terrified,” Snooki says before the procedure, but then takes it like a champ while Dr. Kassir injects her forehead and “bunny lines” around her nose.
In the Instagram video, Dr. Kassir is seen administering the injections with the help of a gold tool. A spokesperson from his office tell us that the tool is their own device, called the KGB (Kassir Gold Beauty) which has vibrations and currents in it. “The device distracts from the actual injections and treatments by vibration,” the spokesperson explains. “It’s all based on the gate theory of pain, which postulates that the brain cannot process too many stimuli at once, therefore rendering less pain to injections if it’s also feeling vibrations.”
No wonder then that Snooki says of the procedure: “First Botox is not bad at all!” We’re thinking this won’t be the last we see of her in his chair.
