When celebrity aesthetician Shani Darden—she's responsible for the flawless complexions of Chrissy Teigen, Jessica Alba and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, to name a few, and the brains behind the almost-always sold-out eponymous line at Sephora—recommends something, the skin-care world (and pretty much anyone who's on the quest for a more-radiant complexion) takes note.

The most recent addition to the "Darden Do" list: Garnier’s Brightening Micellar Water With Vitamin C ($9). Darden, who is a consulting aesthetician for the brand, says she likes the all-in-one for its ability to "gently remove makeup and impurities and brighten skin at the same time."

While the dull-skin defender doesn't require water, it does hit a whole bunch of very impressive benefits: Besides brightening and cleansing, the vitamin C–packed vegan formula is also suitable for all skin types (even sensitive), has zero fragrances, alcohol or oil, and is dermatologist-tested and -approved. Plus, the bottle is made from 30-percent post-consumer plastic and the brand recently rolled out reusable Micellar Cleansing Water Eco Pads that are easy to pair it with.

Also, a fan: The self-described "obsessed" Drew Barrymore, who took to Instagram this week to show some serious makeup-removing magic, courtesy of the product. Her before-and-after visuals were so solid, fellow actress and friend Molly Shannon even commented she "made her want to buy it."
