We’ve all experienced at least one painful beauty treatment, whether it’s the extraction part of a facial, the zapping of laser hair removal or any kind of waxing. After all, “beauty is pain” didn’t become a phrase for no reason, and Tracee Ellis Ross’s recent Instagram post displays just that.
The Black-ish star got up close and personal with her fans this week when she shared a video of someone waxing her nose hairs, and you can literally feel her pain.

In the video, a hot wax–dipped Q-tip is placed inside the actress’s nostril and then quickly pulled out, during which Ross yells, “Take it out! Take it out. Oh f***!” See her half-horrified, half-laughing reaction below. And based on her caption, this is one beauty treatment we don’t think she’ll ever try again.
