Being tired and having a tough time falling asleep seems to be a not-so-surprising shared issue—and topic of conversation—during these trying times.
New York–based Standard Dose, a curated CBD boutique and wellness outpost, is seeing it too, and it's showing up as a big spike in sales in two areas in particular.
As the store, which is still open for business online, tells us, there's "been a few noticeable shifts in consumer behavior" of late. For starters, they've seen a sharp rise—to the tune of a fourfold weekly sales increase—in consumer demand for sleep and stress-related products, with best sellers being the Plant People Drops+ Sleep ($79) and Mineral Sleep ($160) tinctures. Both CBD-formulated products promise to calm the mind naturally for a better, and deeper, night's rest.
The second-largest category spike, which the store says is a noticeable change from the norm, is the rise in natural immunity boosters and self-care, including mainly bath salts and candles.
