Just before winning the gold medal in the all-around final at the Paris Games, Simone Biles took to TikTok for a 'Get Ready With Me' (GRWM) post where she opened up about her experience with Botox. While applying her makeup, Biles revealed an amusing yet frustrating anecdote about her brief foray into the world of Botox.

"A funny story for you guys: So, for my 27th birthday, I got Botox, like Baby Botox," she said, referring to a lighter version of the traditional treatment often used for preventative measures. "And I did not like it, so I haven’t got it again."

Biles, who celebrated her 27th birthday in March, explained that she had neurotoxin injected into her T-zone. However, the treatment didn’t go as planned. While at practice, she noticed a peculiar and uncontrollable side effect: one of her eyebrows would start to rise involuntarily. “I would be standing at practice and my eyebrow would go like this,” she said while lifting her brow to demonstrate a “Spock brow.”

"And Zoey would be like, 'Simone, your eyebrow is doing it again!' and I’m like, 'I feel it!' and I couldn’t get it back down," Biles recalled, laughing. She mentioned that the rogue eyebrow would eventually return to its normal position after about 20 seconds. "It would randomly do that! I have no idea why," she added, noting that her face has since returned to normal.

In the same video, Biles also talked about her scalp issues, attributing the flakiness to either a possible allergy to coconut oil or seborrheic dermatitis. "So, I should probably get that checked out when I get home," she went on to say.

Biles has been vocal about her beauty journey throughout the Olympics. On her Instagram story just hours before the women’s gymnastics team final, where Team USA clinched the gold, she addressed critics who commented on her hair. “Don’t come for me about my hair,” she wrote, explaining the challenges of maintaining her hairstyle in the sweltering heat.

In addition to sharing her beauty secrets, she stressed the importance of mental health. She shared that she felt nervous before the all-around competition but found solace in a therapy session that morning. "Mental health matters," she later captioned a photo on Instagram.

Whether sharing her struggles on social media or winning gold medals, we can’t keep our eyes off of Biles during these Paris Games as she continues to win on and off the floor.
