When we get a new makeup item, we usually love to dig right into it; but Estee Lauder made us hesitate with the star of their Fuchsia Now spring collection: Fleur de Lys Shimmer Powder. It’s just so lovely, it breaks our hearts to sweep a brush over it and disturb the design. However, because of its beautiful effect on skin, we’ll make the sacrifice.
This limited-edition powder has multiple uses-our favorite being the cool glow it creates when fully blended and subtly spread all over the skin. (Don’t limit it to just your face-your decolletage could use some, too.) But with at least four shades in this artful compact, there are plenty of other options: use the lightest shade as a highlighter, or the darker ones as eye shadow, etc.
We love it as an alternative to bronzer for when it’s still too cold to sport a back-from-the-beach look.
