Orlando Bloom has been a household name in Hollywood since his breakthrough in 2001 as The Lord of the Rings’ elven archer, Legolas. Captivating audiences for over two decades, Bloom has built himself a dominating career. He even recently welcomed a baby girl with fiancée Katy Perry.
Now, he’s taking on something completely new: joining Form Nutrition as their chief wellness officer. In this role, he will provide creative direction and guidance on product development as the brand expands in the U.S.
Form Nutrition is a vegan nutritional wellness brand that focuses on plant-based protein and supplements operating in the UK. With protein powder flavors like Tiramisu and Chocolate Hazelnut, Men’s Health named them the best-tasting vegan protein powder on the market.
Bloom was a member of the same gym as the co-founder of Form, Daniel Soong, back in 2017.
“I was already mostly plant-based at the time,” Bloom shares in the video Form released announcing his place on the team. After they got talking at the gym, Soong let him try some of the product. “You gave me some of the protein powder and it was just delicious, and I never stopped using it.”
Now, Form Nutrition is a vital part of Bloom’s wellness.
“The products are an essential part of my daily routine,” Bloom shares. “From Performance Protein in my morning smoothie to ZZZZs sleep supplement at night. I am thrilled to join the team as both an investor and chief wellness officer to contribute to Form’s mission and inspire an impact-driven movement that encourages health beyond personal appearance and wellbeing.”
Form is also certified by B Corps, a nonprofit that measures a company’s social and environmental impact, meaning that Form Nutrition meets high standards of accountability and transparency. In fact, it was the first U.K. brand to receive such accreditation.
A big part of what attracted Bloom to Form Nutrition in the first place was their compostable packaging and their commitment to going carbon neutral.
